Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of CreateThings — the AI document template studio at createthings.ai (the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to them. If you don't agree, don't use the Service.

Your account

You need an account to use the Service. Keep your credentials secure — you're responsible for activity that happens under your account. You must provide a working email address and be legally able to enter into this agreement.

Your content

Templates you design, files you upload, and documents you generate are yours. You give us the limited rights needed to operate the Service: storing your content, processing it with AI models to fulfil your requests, and displaying it back to you. We don't sell your content or use it to train models.

You're responsible for what you upload. Don't upload content you don't have the right to use, and don't use the Service to produce material that is unlawful, deceptive, or harmful.

AI-generated output

Generated documents are produced by AI models from the sources you provide. They can contain mistakes. Review output before relying on it — especially for professional, contractual, or safety-related documents. The Service cites its sources to make that review practical, but the responsibility for the final document is yours.

Plans and fair use

Free accounts can design and explore templates; model-backed generation, uploads, and related features require a paid plan (rolling out soon). Usage limits and quotas apply to all plans and may change as the Service evolves. We may throttle or suspend accounts that abuse the Service, attempt to circumvent limits, or degrade it for others.

Availability and changes

The Service is under active development. Features may change, and we don't guarantee uninterrupted availability. We may update these terms; if we make material changes we'll note the new date above and, where practical, tell you in the product or by email.

Termination

You can stop using the Service and delete your content at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. On termination we'll delete or de-identify your content within a reasonable period, except where retention is legally required.

Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim related to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
